My girlfriend of 6 months is in financial trouble what should I do to help?

My gf and I have been seriously dating for 6 months. I am madly in love with her and believe she is the one. Recently, she has been withdrawn a bit because of her financial situation. It has affected our relationship to a degree, but not so much that we are in danger of breaking up. I hate to see her upset about money, because I make quite a bit and am financially secure with a good nest egg. What should I do to help her out?

1. Simple things. Pay for the evening out, or the movies. Don`t give a large amount just yet.. it`s only 6 months after all. Also, ask her if you can assist in budgeting. Sometimes problems pop up due to someone not noticing a trend - and in the end that advice might prove more valuable than a handful of cash now.
