Is there help out there besides Financial aid wanting to go back to school..?

Wanting to go to NATS to get my CNA certificate and they do not have Financial aid.. I 'm really wanting this and going to find away.. thanks in advance

1. Check for scholarships and grants! If those aren't available: Banks and credit card companies have private student loans that go toward education, which you don't have to pay back till you graduate or drop below full-time. If you do go the private loan route for school, be sure to pay off the interest every month or so to keep from racking up even More debt from the interest. College is a huge investment but worth it in the end because you're investing in your future! You can lose your job but no one can take your education away. Good luck!
2. By any chance are you a verteran or a dependant of a veteran? I know the VA will pay for some courses, but not all, and seeing that you want to go for a certificate program I'm not sure how that would work. I would look into it if you fit the requirements, i.e. vet or dependant
3. If you want a CNA, then work at a nursing home that also allows you to take the classes while wk'g around other CNA's. This usually doesn't cost anything, or little at all. The only thing you pay for is your testing (I think it's after only wk'g and classes for 3 mo.)...the testing is around $25-100. Sometimes, the employer will take a bit of that money ea. check for your testing, if you need help! (Be very careful...this job is physically, emotionally draining- you will get bitten, hit, pinched, kicked,verbally abused, yelled at by patients and their families, and most nurses do not help you...you are always on a tight schedule!- I don't care how much I get paid...I'm back in college to get away from this job!)
